Don’t let a scrap of precious metal go to waste

Wondering how much your sweep might be worth given the rising price of gold?

Have you been using the same scrap processing company, assuming they can offer you the best prices?

Do you struggle to find the time to collect and weigh your filings and waste workbench material?

Let us take care of managing your precious workshop waste.

We can look after everything, from cleaning to extraction, from lemel pots to settlement tanks, floor, and bench sweeps - we ensure not a scrap of precious metal will go to waste.

Once collected, simply choose the payment method and we will transfer it quickly.

When it comes to workshop waste, we are the gold standard.

  • Anything that comes into contact with the precious metal, can hold traces of it and most likely can be recovered. There are so many unseen places where scrap can accumulate over time.

From carpets to hand tools, lamps, benches, and chairs. You’d be surprised how much can be recovered from a thorough workshop cleanup.

We take care of the whole process, cleaning, collecting, processing, assessing, and returning the value back to our customers.

  • Once collected we melt and assay scrap precious metals to assess the quantity and quality. We can either return this in solid form or cash.

As well as the workbench itself we extract traces of precious metal from carpets, and benches, and we can also collect polishing waste and buff papers which are incinerated to leave gold dust, which is weighed and valued.

  • As well as collecting the precious metal dust filtered from workshop extractors, we also recover from laser filters. This microscopic dust is processed, and weighed and its value is returned to the customer.

  • After hand washing, traces of precious metals are collected in settlement tanks. Many customers are surprised by just how much can be found here.

We empty settlement tanks, their sludge is processed and refined into nuggets of precious metals, and their quality is assessed, weighed, and valued.

  • It is possible to reclaim diamonds that have been set in gold, platinum, or palladium jewellery.

In our process, we use various acid processes that dissolve the precious metals leaving the diamonds behind.

During a job, each diamond is handled individually, and all diamonds are returned along with payment for the precious metals that have been recovered. Based on the workload, the standard processing timeframe is three to four weeks from the date of receipt, but this may vary based on the quantity of work received.

We offer a quick and convenient service and we pride ourselves in offering very competitive prices for your gold. There are no hidden fees so you can rest assured that you’re getting a top price for your gold.

Please note silver cannot be not recovered.

  • For customers with scrap gold and lemel, simply post your material to us recorded delivery, and we will process, weigh and value it. See full process below:

We process all precious metal-bearing waste and offer a full melt and assay service including the processing of floor sweeps, bench sweeps and lemels. We also process floor carpets and all precious metal-bearing liquids and sludges.
